Just like the under $175K range that starts the "belly of the market" the under $250K range is the other end of the market center and is the second largest price range for homes on Madison's East Side. These homes also tend to have more finished space in the lower level, averaging about 350 square feet for total finished square feet of around 1,900 square feet.

These a modern homes for the most part and use modern building materials.
